Happy Birthday, Simon Says Challenge Blog
I had a bit of time this morning, seeing as I woke up "early" (end of daylight saving!!) so I checked out a few of the challenge blogs I like to participate in (though I haven't had much time to lately) and the first one I came across was the "Simon Says Challenge Blog"...They are celebrating their 4th year, so their current challenge ties in quite nicely, it is "Happy Birthday"
And here is my card, using a Penny Black stamp (main image), a Darkroom Door stamp set (sentiment), Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils, a black fineliner(for the hand-drawn frame), Archival ink (jet black) and some Prima pp.
If you get a chance to play along have a look HERE, there are some great prizes up for grabs...
Until next time, thanks for visiting and have a great Sunday : )

Found Cards
Here are a couple of cards I've just come across in my computer...they were made for CRAFT QUEEN, using lots of different products from the CRAFT QUEEN site.
As you can see, a good variety, and all of them using Darkroom Door's Background stamps...
While I'm on the subject of Darkroom Door stamps...a little while back I was one of the lucky winners of a giveaway over at Rachel's blog, and got to pick a set of stamps of my choice, I have to admit it was so hard to choose (I want them ALL) but I decided on the Carved Flowers set as I had already picked up a couple of the other sets at the last craft show...so Thank you Rachel for picking me as one of the winners, I love the images and products you create for us to play with...
Well, that's it for me on this, the first day of the month, happy April Fool's Day : )

Away With The Fairies...
I have been away from my computer quite a lot lately, just too busy with other things, but I have been busy creating samples for Nicole (CRAFT QUEEN) and here is a sneak-peek:
If you get a chance to go to the show here in Melbourne, you'll be able to see them in real life : )
I've made a few cards as well as some fun tags, all using gorgeous new embellishments from CRAFT QUEEN, including some fab new washi tapes, new background stamps, and some fun metallic look flowers...
And, did you know CRAFT QUEEN is one of the main sponsors of this year's classes? Have a look HERE for all the information about the show, and HERE for some great classes available (CRAFT QUEEN sponsored classes are being run in rooms 1 and 2, and you need to hurry to book before all spots are gone!!!)
I'll be going to the show on Sunday, and I plan to pick up some new DARKROOM DOOR stamps as well as some other new goodies...I hope to see you there : )

Happy New Year!!!!!!
2012 has been a very busy year for me, and I'm still on catch-up mode! But I promised myself I would start the New Year with a tidy crafting space, and I'm half way there...I'm finding treasures and left-overs, new toys and trusty friends that I had forgotten I had!!! I'm also putting a few bits and pieces aside for the local primary school (thanks to my darling daughter for the idea)
Anyhow, I also promised myself I would try to be a lot more creative this year, and to that effect I have joined in Nathalie's Studio Creative Jumpstart 2013, just finished watching the very first video, and I can't wait to try the fabulous technique, so, if you are looking for a jumpstart to your creativity, have a look HERE In the meantime, here's a little something I prepared earlier:
There's something else which goes in the middle of the tags, but I will share those in my next post ; )
I hope that wherever you are in this great big world of ours, you have welcomed 2013 with open arms, and surrounded by loved ones...I wish you a very happy, healthy, and creative New Year...Thanks for stopping by : )

Photostamp Playing
I can't believe it is December already!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this year has absolutely flown by...One of our traditions is to always put the Christmas tree up on the first day of December, but this year has been so busy, here we are on the 3rd day already and the tree is still to make an appearance : )
Have you had a chance to see the beautiful new stamps Darkroom Door has released? You can see them HERE and HERE . Rachel sent me a couple of stamps to play with (you can see the previous post to have a look at what I created with the Numbers background stamp) and I see she has a new post today with the projects I created for her using the Central Park Photostamp...have a look HERE
I'm off to have dinner and maybe even put up a Christmas tree...thanks for visiting, see you again soon.

Hello There...
It's been a while, but today I have a few photos to share...Firstly, a couple of ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)
And a couple of cards made for Craft Queen using a new favourite of mine (and I'm sure I'm not the only one collecting these little spools of goodness), washi tape.
The last photo is just a sneak, as Nicole hasn't shown the card in her blog yet...
I hope you are having a happy Sunday, it's cold and grey here, but great weather for crafting, don't you think? Now I'm off to finish a couple of ATC swaps, enjoy the rest of your day, and thank you for visiting me : )

Stampotique Sentiments...
The current challenge over at the Stampotique challenge blog is to use a sentiment in your project...
I have used this one which goes with quite a few images... I stamped Perl onto a manila tag, next I stamped Floral Flutter & then drew in the edging using a fine Zig pen. The images were coloured in using Derwent Inktense pencils. I also added some cotton seam binding (coloured using some GM) I haven't had much of a chance to play along with any challenges lately, so I'm really happy that I got this tag finished and photographed on time!!!
Thanks for stopping by...

Washi Tape Frame
Here's a card I made a little while back, I used some washi tape to create a frame around the tag.
Thanks for visiting me...
I stamped the image (Darkroom Door set) tore around it and stapled it to the tag. The tag was scrunched up and distressed using Vintage Photo Distress ink, and I added some seam binding ribbon for a bit of colour.
Here's another very quick card I made a while back using an image from a Darkroom Door Montage sheet, and some seam binding ribbon.
Thanks for visiting me...
