Tags and Buttons

Hello again, I have a couple of cards to share which I've made using goodies sent to me by Nicole, of CRAFT QUEEN.      For the first card I've used THIS great tag (kraft on one side and black on the other, I sanded the edges on the black side) and I used a Collections chipboard butterfly, covered in some Prima pp.    The words are also from Collections, and can be found HERE, and the ribbons are HERE, HERE,  and HERE.

For the second card, I had a bit of fun adding ink to one of THESE wooden buttons... I know Nicole has oodles of beautiful buttons in stock, but how great is it to be able to match the colour as needed! I think it's great that the button took the colour so well (I used StaZon rust ink)
I have again used some of that Prima pp, a Collections word, mesh ribbon, grosgrain ribbon, and the butterfly has been cut out of THIS Collections transparency sheet.

Thanks for visiting me,

Washi Tape Tag

So...How many rolls of washi tape have you got in your stash?   I bet it happens to be more than 2 or 3, and just like me, you're probably wondering how to use them...  I had a bit of a play with a couple of rolls yesterday, and this is what I came up with:

I used the chevron tape to partly cover a kraft tag (carefully lining up the pattern), I also used the green stripe tape to cover a Collections chipboard heart, added the Collections word (sponged with Distress ink) and the gorgeous owl ribbon.    The brown glittery ribbon is HERE

And a Tray

I know, two posts in the one day!!   Blogger is playing nice so I thought I'd share one more project...You'll have to excuse the bad photo, I had to use the flash and only had time to take the one photo...the tray (and a new card kit) had to be posted asap : )

I've used lots of Collections papers and chipboard, the leaves have been covered with hand-dyed muslin (using GM).    The tray was dry-brushed with gold acrylic paint and rubbed with Distress ink (Vintage Photo) If you happen to have gone to the Craft shows in Brisbane or Sydney, you may have seen it at the Craft Queen stand recently...   Enjoy your day, whatever you may be doing, and thank you for visiting me : )

Collections Goodness

Nicole, owner of CRAFT QUEEN, sent me a Collections card keeper to play with, along with a lot of other great bits and pieces, and here is the end result:

I was able to fit 6 of my cards (3 per side) inside the keeper, which is not bad considering my cards had lots of layers and 3D elements on them : )

I've used: Collections papers, Collections old printed ephemera sheet, Collections labels old, Collections clock faces, Collections chipboard pieces (Heart and Bluebird), and stamped images from Darkroom Door stamp sets Steampunk and Gothic Arches. I've also used THIS crepe ribbon, and lots of this Distress Ink.

Thanks for visiting my humble palace, I hope you enjoyed your stay : )
